Mountain Coaster

The Snowbird Mountain Coaster is 3,120 feet of twists and turns. Located at the base of the Peruvian chairlift just outside the Snowbird Center, you’ll be pulled to the top of the track and then gravity will take over. The cart’s speed is controlled by the driver and as you descend 160 vertical feet you’ll experience two horizontal loops, a tree-lined straightaway and swooping turns.
National Parks
In Utah there are several National Parks and many National Monuments. Southern Utah is home to four National Parks: Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands and Zion. All of these parks are within a 5 hour drive of Alta and Snowbird.
Utah is also home to many National Monuments like Dinosaur in the north, Timpanogos Cave in the Wastach Mountains in and Capitol Reef in south-central Utah.
Natural History Museum of Utah

The Tabernacle Choir
For more than a century, the Tabernacle Choir has given voice to the hopes, joys, trials, and triumphs of people around the world.
This 360-member chorus of men and women, all volunteers, has performed at World’s Fairs and expositions, at inaugurations of U.S. presidents, in acclaimed concert halls from Australia and Europe to Asia and the Middle East, and on television broadcasts. The choir has even been referred to as “America’s Choir,” as a result of their high standard of popular choral music.

Utah Olympic Oval

Located just 45 minutes from Alta and Snowbird, the Utah Olympic Oval is known for the ‘Fastest Ice on Earth’. Home to over 100 world records in speed skating. Built in 2001, this amazing venue has transformed from a high-performance competition venue to a community recreational resource for Utah residents from all over Salt Lake Valley. Today, the Olympic Oval continues to host world-class speed skating races annually and provides learn-to-programs for aspiring figure skaters, speed skaters, hockey players and more.
Utah Olympic Park
Located in Park City, Utah, about 1 hour form Alta and Snowbird, the Utah Olympic Park is open year-round to visitors.
Home to six Nordic Ski Jumps, 1,335-meter sliding track with five start areas, freestyle aerials winter training and competition hill, and 750,000-gallon training pool. It also features the Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center, which houses both the Alf Engen Ski Museum and George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles 2002 Olympic Winter Games Museum.
