Great location and well maintained

Nice condo for a family of four adults. Shuttle service convenient for Snowbird and Alta. Yes, many steps, but great sunset view from condo and kitchen is fully equipped for eating in. Not the best location if you like being near restaurants or nightlife, as it\'s a bit isolated and wouldn\'t want to walk on the road at night. Unit has two en suite baths and a third, so good for multiple showers at end of day!

Our second time staying at Hellgate and continue to appreciate the excellent service by all the folks at Canyon Services. Excellent condo, all details well-managed including the online reservation/communications/payment/etc, and the staff is always welcoming and helpful when we needed assistance.

Clean, comfortable, shuttle to Alta is convenient. Views are amazing from the living room and dining area. Parking spot is tight for a larger SVU, many stairs to the unit.

Had a great family ski trip. The staff at Hellgate were all kind, warm, helpful and snowsport afficionados to boot. They were a highlight of the stay. The skiing was great, condo was nice. Hot tub was surprisingly nice. Please be aware that there are about 50 stairs between the road/ski shuttle and some of the lower units, so the condo stay comes with some huffing and puffing, or a nice leg warmup if you are a "glass half full type," as we are!

Canyon Services did a good job of helping us enjoy our 3 day ski holiday. The condo was in a beautiful setting although you had to run and down many stairs. The Greely Mtn condo people were also very helpful. We learned to take more advantage of the shuttle service as walking to Snow Bird was a bit challenging.

This turned out to be a great choice for us. The staff at Hellgate -- Ryan, Annalise, Beth, and sorry I don't remember the name of the fourth, whom we only met briefly on our last day -- were all so helpful and considerate. Some days we drove the couple minutes to a resort parking lot, but often we took the very convenient local shuttle. We usually had lunch on the mountain and quiet evenings cooking dinner in the condo. I would also strongly recommend stopping at Utah Ski Gear in Sandy on your way from SLC airport to Hellgate. That was another lucky find. We had a great vacation and would love to return.

This is the perfect place to stay if you're skiing, Alta or Snowbird! The staff is incredible and will help you navigate any request or concern about the snow or the roads. The beds are great and the view is even better. There is even a shuttle that will pick you up and bring you to the mountain so you can leave the car in the garage. We will 100% be back!!

A pullout bed in the living room would be an excellent addition to unit so that four adults can sleep comfortably. Close proximity to the lifts at Alta & Snowbird.

We had a great experience staying at Hellgate Unit J! The condo itself was immaculate and the location and shuttle access to Snowbird could not be beat! The hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes! Amazing and helpful staff made our stay flawless.

Great lodging option close to Snowbird and Alta. We stayed during a snowstorm, which was awesome for skiing but created some grid lock around the ski areas, parking lots and highway. Be prepared to “interlodge” (stay indoors) during storms as they do avalanche control. Highway 210 at Hellgate was closed during our stay, which required us to access the condo through a “Road Closed” area from the bypass road. This road was not plowed so 4 wheel drive is mandatory. Condo was spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a washer dryer in the unit which is not necessarily the case for other Hellgate units. Boot dryers and humidifiers are available for use. The common hot tub was large and clean, with a small shower area. Not ski in / ski out but a clean, quiet and beautiful snowbound place to stay with just a short drive to ski.

We wanted to be right between Alta and Snowbird to use our Ikon pass at both and found this little gem. The unit is spacious and has all the amenities that you could ask for including a washing machine to wash our clothes after a long day of skiing. We cooked every night and found ample kitchenware. The only wish would be if they had a Keurig to make coffee in a small amount vs buying a whole bag. The location was graced with fresh snow before we left and the view from the living room was simply amazing. So pretty to see the trees and mountains covered in fresh snow. The shuttle service was also great to get back and forth to the mountain and they had ski lockers so only one flight of stairs to traverse to get your gear stored. All and all a great find!

Very clean space. Well equipped unit. We drove to the the mountains (Alta and Snowbird) daily instead of using the shuttle. Plenty of parking midweek. Fairly long walk from condo parking to the unit. Would definitely stay here again!

The walls/ceiling are a bit thin as we could hear other guests at times but it wasn’t too bad. Can’t beat being up in the canyon when snow comes. Perhaps the best part was the great/highly responsive customer service from the staff before and during our stay. Thanks.

We had a great time staying in Hellgate Unit J. Ample space for 5 of us - loved the extra bathroom in the hall. Super convenient location to Alta via a friendly free shuttle ride anytime. Will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hellgate Unit J. It was a great location with SUPER EASY access to Snowbird & Alta. We shuttles to Alta & drove to Snowbird. Both are 3 minutes away. Shuttle would take you to local restaurants in the evening. The unit was super roomy for 4 people. Plenty of closet space & the in unit washer & dryer made it very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, however, it can get crowded with more than 1 cook in the kitchen. The only suggestion I would have is to add cubbies & coat racks in the nice, large entry way of the unit. It has plenty of room, but could use some organizational upgrades.

The condo was fantastic -- wonderful location, plenty of space, well-equipped, and a really easy and pleasant space to inhabit for a few days. We appreciated all the closets and having a washer and dryer to wash clothes. The views out our windows were to die for, and the fireplace really enhanced the time together in the main room. The hot tub was such a nice treat. We really REALLY enjoyed our stay and would love to return!”

We had a great experience for a quick snowboard trip for 6 people (2 couples and 2 friends). Living space was perfect for our group and we called cliff lodge to transport us to the lifts and dinners. Highly recommend! There is only 1 car allowed, but 2 friends took a shuttle which worked out

Location, location, location. This is a great place for skiing, situated less than a five minute drive from Alta. The building is a bit dated, but the condo is very nice and clean, great to have three bathrooms. The TV and fireplace are in a large room with windows all around that is the perfect space for gathering. The Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, as you might expect. There are a lot of stairs from the street to the unit, so be prepared for that. The hot tub is great at the end of the day.

We had an awesome stay here! The condo is really spacious (3 full bathrooms!) and clean. It's super close to snowbird and alta - we skied at both and had a blast. The only thing that we were unprepared for was the thin blinds in the bedrooms. The headlights from cars driving up the mountain shine into the rooms at night. So we used some extra blankets to hang from blinds to make it darker in the kids' room. Other than that, it was great and would definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy, views amazing, terrific location. I would only suggest providing shampoo and soap, because these are difficult to obtain in the canyon.

They had everything you needed in the kitchen and the sleeping was comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace and amazing views!

Great location and great condo! If you don’t like stairs it’s not the place for you. Highly recommend!

Condo was very close to the ski parks- the free shuttle service was very convenient and the views out of every window were gorgeous!
