The Village at Sugarplum Unit 7 is the Gad Valley Lodge! Located within 2 miles of two world-famous ski resorts, this 3 bedroom with loft condo offers 1,938 square feet of living space, ski-in/out access to Snowbird via intermediate trails to the WhoDunnIt Run, complimentary ski shuttle service to either Alta or Snowbird, two primary bedrooms, and accommodations for 10 guests!

SKI IN/OUT ACCESS TO SNOWBIRD
The ski-in/out access trail begins at the end of the road on the Condo Bypass Trail on the Snowbird Trail Map. This trail connects to the Whodunnit run. Coming back take the Peruvian Express or the Tram, following the blue trail markers and signs for the Fun Run or Chips, continue down to Whodunnit and you are back where you started. Trail Access is contingent on sufficient snow levels.
SHUTTLE ACCESS TO ALTA AND SNOWBIRD
On the south end of the road is the shuttle stop. The complimentary shuttle runs daily from the last week of December to the first week of April on a continuous loop to both Alta and Snowbird throughout the day.

Spring snow was low this year and the melt was high. It normally would be ski in and out...but we opted to just drive to the parking lot. Worked well for the family. While the Garage is tight, it will fit a Suburban without difficulty.
Great condo!
by Mary BrunetteGreat condo with nice layout, well equipped kitchen, lovely fireplace and great views! Canyon rentals service was excellent as always. Unfortunately, the seating in this unit was terribly uncomfortable, both dining table seating and living room seating, for both me (5’4”) and my husband (6’1”). In addition, there were not bedside tables on both sides of the beds, which was quite awkward for the couples using this condo. A furniture upgrade is definitely needed.

Canyon services was very responsive and so helpful! They took great care of us during our stay. The location is truly ski in and out. The amount of snow we had during our stay was unbelievable and they took great care to clear a path for us. We would definitely rent from Canyon Services again.

by michaelGreat vacation. The location is great and the Staff is extremely helpful with all of your needs. There were a few things that needed a quick fix but they were always there to take care of it. And the hot tub was a ton of fun!!! Nice size house and the roads were always plowed!!!!!

Great location for Alta and Snowbird. Indoor hot tub was a nice feature. Canyon Services were very helpful. Area was plowed and shoveled very quickly after snow storm. Would definitely come back |
Nice place, clean and good communication with hosts. Not fancy but served 2 families w/ 5 young kids just fine. Easy to get to Alta and Snowbird; did not try the 'ski in ski out' to Snowbird but didn't seem viable to do w/ younger kids. Overall very good experience!
Lovely weekend

It's a walk down a road to the ski to snowbird area. not bad. then pretty easy to ski back via Peruvian by hanging right all the way down. getting to Alta requires the shuttle, you can traverse back off wildcat from alta but it's a little tricker and definitely not obvious esp for novices. The location is great and everything else was as advertised. the wifi can be really slow just in case anyone is depending on it for work.

by ChristineIt was a really great location. Great views and beautiful hikes. Just a few minutes away from the tram and mountain coasters which was a lot of fun for our little family.
Home Run

4 guys over 40 - happy!
by Collin4 guys over 40, we weren't looking for the Ritz, just a place that was clean and had enough room. Easy ski on/off at Snowbird Peruvian lift. The hot tub, drying closet (for boots, gloves etc.) and laundry were good additions. It could use some updating (except the laundry which is fairly new), but it's a rental, so we weren't surprised. We were there to ski and it was setup perfect for that! Oh, and covered parking for 1 was a great bonus for my buddy who drove from California
Condo dated but nice!
by JamieEnjoyed this home during winter break. Condo is a bit dated (80's...but all worked fine). Unfortunately we were "interlodged" for 60 plus hours, but that wasn't the condo's fault. Felt very safe with the staff there updating us regularly. The house had games and netflix ect to entertain us. Great location to Snowbird. Easy trail to get to house once we figured it out. Has some beginner skiers with us too and they had no issues. Staff at snowbird was extremely friendly to our kids...they got lots of stickers for having their masks up which they loved. Not sure we will be back to Snowbird for a while due to interlodge, but the accomodations were great.
Comfortable
