The Village at Sugarplum Unit 18 is Mt. Superiors Exquisite Manor! This 3 bedroom condo offers 1,900 square feet of living space and is within 2 miles of two world-famous ski resorts. Your group of up to eight people will love the ski-in/out access to Snowbird via intermediate trails to the WhoDunnIt Run, complimentary ski shuttle service to either Alta or Snowbird, private indoor hot tub, breath-taking views, and one-of-a-kind art pieces!

SKI IN/OUT ACCESS TO SNOWBIRD
The ski-in/out access trail begins at the end of the road on the Condo Bypass Trail on the Snowbird Trail Map. This trail connects to the Whodunnit run. Coming back take the Peruvian Express or the Tram, following the blue trail markers and signs for the Fun Run or Chips, continue down to Whodunnit and you are back where you started. Trail Access is contingent on sufficient snow levels.
SHUTTLE ACCESS TO ALTA AND SNOWBIRD
The shuttle stop is located up the drive on the Bypass Road. The complimentary shuttle runs daily from the last week of December to the first week of April on a continuous loop to both Alta and Snowbird throughout the day

Great place, highly recommended! Canyon services was super responsive and fixed our wrong door code right away. The only comment I want to leave for other guests is the “ski in - ski out”. It is not at all obvious unless you know the area. They should have a map on the instructions in the condo, but if they don’t, here’s what you do: Coming out of unit 18, walk down the small access street (not Bypass Road), to snowbird. The road dead ends into the woods, there you do a small hike up, find a skiied out single track through the woods until you open on large cattrack that parallels bypass road heading to Snowbird. Keep your speed up and you will easily make it to the Tram/ Peruvian lift. Coming back you take the Peruvian lift, about midway down look for Whodunnit cattrack, take the Condo bypass, which is marked, then ski down below the first condo and take a hard right, will have to do a small hike, then ski down to the place you started

Easy access to both Alta and Snowbird from very prompt shuttle. House has everything you need for the stay. Only suggestion might be to get some sturdier pillows in downstairs bedrooms. overall, a great experience.
Skied both Snowbird and Alta, Alta shuttle got us everywhere we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and utensils. The living room space was limited for more than 5 adults at a time, so activities for all of us was around the dining room table. Bedrooms were comfortable and having a laundry was important. We also enjoyed the hot tub that was right in the house.

by Dave BarbatoThe place was awesome and we really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great after skiing, the views and location all worked well. Clean, modern and well equipped throughout. Bedrooms were comfortable. We had for guys on this trip - worked great for us. We did not bring a car - used the shuttle services around the mountain which worked well for us. Skiing back to the unit can be a bit tricky - we came out on the road above the complex - found it easier to grab the shuttle. Would definitely return and rent from here again.

Overall this was a great Airbnb stay. It was a comfortable place with great views and easy host communication. The only thing worth noting is that parking is very limited - there is only one designated spot for the place in a garage and it was too small to fit our Toyota Tundra. There were 3-4 unreserved outside spots and we lucked out getting one, but just be aware if you're going with a big group or have a large vehicle. |
Beautiful, NOT ski-in/out
by SarahOur condo was gorgeous! Sugarplum #18 has everything you need for a fun group, private hot tub included. That said, is NOT ski in/out as we were told. There is a gnarly ski-in trail to Snowboard but no ski out. Also, the downhill sidewalk to the front door was not shoveled or salted…was a safety hazard for sure. Other than that, the place/area is superb.
