Little Cottonwood Canyon Scenic Byway
Length: 8 miles

From your rental, you can easily access the Little Cottonwood Canyon Scenic Byway along the Little Cottonwood Canyon Main Road. Keep in mind the byway extends from the Little Cottonwood Parking Lot to the Alta Ski Area. Big Cottonwood Canyon Scenic Byway
Length: 15 miles
Located just north of Little Cottonwood Canyon, continue your drive along the Big Cottonwood Canyon Scenic Byway. Drive past views of the ancient canyon and find the perfect spot for a picnic in the mountains. Stretch your legs on the hiking trails, access legendary rock climbing routes, and end your trip at Brighton Ski Resort.
Great Salt Lake Legacy Parkway Scenic Byway
Length: 14 miles
If you are flying into the Salt Lake City Airport, we recommend taking a detour on the Great Salt Lake Legacy Parkway Scenic Byway. This byway connects the airport with Great Salt Lake, offering easy access for travelers. Hop on I-15 and take exit 319 towards exit 324 to the lake. Once you have arrived, spend your time playing at the beaches of Antelope Island State Park, floating in the water, and birdwatching.
Mirror Lake Scenic Byway
Length: 56 miles
Mirror Lake Scenic Byway is one of the most popular scenic drives in Utah, accessible just an hour from Alta Snowbird. Drive towards Kamas, and pick up the byway along state route 150, and ascend high into the Uinta Mountains. Along the way, you can see many notable sights, including Mirror Lake, Bald Mountain Pass, Provo River Falls, and Bear River Range Station. Take this drive in the fall for the best views!
