Keep reading to find the option that works best for you and learn how to ski both resorts during your stay while saving on lift access.

Alta Bird Pass

Best for: locals or visitors staying long-term who want to ski every day.

The Alta Bird Pass offers skiers an easy, convenient way to ski both resorts, with unlimited access to Snowbird and Alta throughout the season. There are no blackout dates, so you can use this pass anytime, including holiday weekends. This pass gives you access to 20 lifts, 256 runs, 5,113 acres, and 3,240 feet of skiable terrain. But that’s only the beginning.

This pass also includes the following benefits:

  • A free kids pass for unlimited skiing/riding at Snowbird.
  • Discounted tickets for friends and family.
  • Discounts on ski gear, lessons, and rental shops.
  • Access to the Peruvian Chairlift and Scenic Tram in the summer.

Just looking to ski a day or two? Alta-Bird single-day and multi-day lift tickets are available on-site at Alta or Snowbird ticket windows.

Super Pass

Best for: visitors staying a bit longer who want to sample several Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts without committing to a season pass.

The Super Pass is a multi-day lift ticket valid at four Cottonwood Canyon resorts: Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude. Skiers can choose anywhere from 1 to 10 ski days with no blackout dates, and the pass includes free rides on UTA ski buses and TRAX light rail, plus rental discounts. The only caveat is that this pass is only valid at one resort per day, so you will have to ski Alta one day and Snowbird another.

Purchase your Super Pass directly through Canyon Services through the Guest Portal or by calling a reservationist.

Ikon Pass

Best for: skiers who’ll spend a week or more in Utah and want to hop between several resorts, or who plan to ski at other Ikon destinations around the world.

The Ikon Pass offers more options for your ski vacation, giving you access to over 70 ski resorts worldwide, including Snowbird and Alta. The Ikon Pass includes 7 days of combined skiing with no blackout dates and offers exclusive discounts on lift tickets for friends and family.

Mountain Collective

Best for: shorter trips, or anyone who wants to try both resorts without a big commitment.

The Mountain Collective Pass gives skiers access to 27 ski resorts worldwide, including Alta and Snowbird. The pass includes two days at each partner resort, plus 50% off unlimited additional days, with no blackout dates. This pass is cheaper than the Ikon Pass but still gives you access to dozens of incredible resorts worldwide.
