Alf Engen’s Ski School
The Alf Engen’s Ski School in Alta, Utah, offers private lessons, classes, and programs for all ages. So, whether you want to refresh your skills or try out skiing for the first time, Alta ski lessons are the way to go.
- Kid Class Lessons: The skillful instructors provide three different Alta ski lessons based on skill level. The first time ski adventure introduces skiing, where kids can learn how to do wedge turns and maintain control. All of the kids’ lessons are available as a short two-hour class or a more involved four-hour lesson.
- Adult Class Lessons: Adults can choose from four skill classes at Alf Engen’s Ski School. Skill class one focuses on the basics, such as how to glide and change directions. Adult lessons are available daily and meet at Albion Basin.
- Private Lessons: If you want a class catered to your specific ability, then opt for a private lesson instead.
Snowbird Mountain School
Learn how to ski the greatest snow on Earth at Snowbird Mountain School. Snowbird is an excellent place for young kids to learn since lessons are available for ages three and up. Check out the Snowbird ski lessons, and make sure to sign up well in advance!
- Kids Lessons: The kids’ lessons are designed to be a safe and fun learning environment for even the youngest skiers. The chickadee program is a one-hour introductory lesson for ages three to four, while the kinderbirds program is available for ages five and six.
- Youth Lessons: The youth and teen lessons are available for riders ages 7-15 to help with safety awareness and overall skill development. All ski students are grouped by age and ability to ensure everyone gets the most out of their lesson.
- Adult Lessons: The beginner lessons are perfect for adults looking to ski for the first time. Even if you’ve been skiing before, you can improve your technique and grow your skills with the adult workshop.
